(Below) Using hundreds of jigsaw puzzle pieces as the medium and not a drop of paint, she recreated Chinese artist He Qi’s colorful depiction of Christ’s crucifixion. The dramatic artwork has been on display in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota metropolitan area during the Lenten season and was featured during Exultate’s concert performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s St. Matthew’s Passion in March, 2011.
